A new Domino's is due to open next week at a former betting shop site.

The pizza giant will open its doors at the former Coral site on Botley Road, Fair Oak on September 2.

It is due to open between 11am and 11pm seven days a week and will offer delivery services to Bishopstoke, Fair Oak, Horton Heath, and Bishops Waltham.

It comes after a planning application for the site was approved by Eastleigh Borough Council with the business now on the lookout for new recruits.

Simon Lombardi, area manager said: “We’re excited to come to Fair Oak, to deliver the nation’s favourite pizza.

"The new store means we can offer closer collection for customers along with improved delivery times.

"We are passionate about enhancing our new community with employment opportunities, where people from Fair Oak can grow and develop their careers.

"Over 90 per cent of Domino’s store managers started in-store or as a delivery driver, so whether you’re looking for a few extra hours or a completely new career path, there are roles to suit everyone.”

The store will be offering 50 per cent off pizzas and running the £8 / £10 / £12 price slice deal.

The company is also advertising flexible working shifts to fit around existing schedules, with many training and progression opportunities.

Developers had previously said: “The proposed use as a hot food takeaway will therefore contribute to both the day and night-time economies through the site’s operation, as well as generating additional employment opportunities for local people.

“Collectively these factors will ensure that the proposal positively enhances the vitality, viability and overall attractiveness of the existing centre.”
