A guided bat walk will take place at a local nature reserve in Romsey this Friday evening, August 30.
It will allow people to gain more of an understanding of the important role bats play in our ecosystems and participants will also get the opportunity to use bat detectors to learn how to identify different species.
The event will be led by countryside officers from Test Valley Borough Council taking place from 8pm onwards at Tadburn Meadows.
Terese Swain, councillor from Test Valley Borough Council, said the guided walks will offer a unique opportunity to connect with nature.
Ms Swain said: "I encourage everyone to take part to deepen their appreciation for our local wildlife, and support our ongoing efforts to protect these important species in Test Valley."
The walk is free to attend with participants needing to pre-register online via Eventbrite.
