The open-air classical concert features all the usual last night of the Proms favourites including Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and Jerusalem.

People are being encouraged to bring a picnic, Champagne and flags to enjoy the music.

There will be snacks for sale and a bar selling soft drinks, wines, beers and cocktails.

For environmental reasons there will not be a firework display.

Mr Ingram said: "We are delighted to return to Sir Harold Hillier Gardens for the Last Night of the Proms spectacular.  This year we have music from Wagner, Bizet, Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky and all the usual Last Night favourites such as Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and many others.  There is film music from Pirates of the Caribbean, James Bond and even a John Williams medley featuring Star Wars, Jaws, ET, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Superman and Harry Potter!"

Gates open at 6pm with the concert starting at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £25 for adults and £14.50 for children aged between two and 16.
