AN UPCOMING event in Winchester will take place this Saturday, August 31, celebrating Ukrainian Culture and Ukraine Independence Day.
Winchester City Council, in partnership with Ukrainian Cultural Association, is organising a free family event for people in Winchester to come together and embrace Ukrainian culture for Ukraine Independence Day, which was celebrated recently on Saturday, August 24.
The event, which takes place between 1pm and 5pm at Abbey Gardens will have family activities including a magic show, circus skills, face painting, art, craft workshops and Ukrainian singing and dancing.
The organisers of the event have said that in the case of heavy rain, the event will be held in the Guildhall next door
