Renowned actor Jodie Comer is anticipated to be a sight to behold in an upcoming screening of National Theatre Live's Prima Facie.

The screening is scheduled for September 12 at Theatre Royal Winchester

The Empire Street production explores the narrative of Tessa, a young barrister with working-class roots who has fought her way to the top of her profession.

However, an unexpected turn of events challenges her, forcing her to question the balance between law, burden of proof and ethics.

Noted for her roles in Killing Eve, Help, and Free Guy, Comer was lauded with Olivier and Tony awards for her compelling performance in this one-woman play.

Directed by Justin Martin, who has previously directed hit shows such as Stranger Things: The First Shadow and Skylight,  and penned by Suzie Miller, an acclaimed playwright known for her explorations of injustice, Prima Facie promises to leave audiences on the edge of their seats.

The play was recorded live during the sold-out 2022 run at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London's West End.

It should be noted that the production carries a 15-certification due to its mature contents.
