After the impact of Covid, Ampfield Bridge Club is rebuilding its membership and continues to invite new members to join them on a Tuesday evening at the Ampfield Village Hall to play Duplicate Bridge.

To aid this they have introduced, this year, bridge lessons, for both beginners, and those who may already have some knowledge of bridge but are looking to make the transition to Duplicate Bridge.

The lessons are given on an intense weekly basis, in small groups, for an initial period of 10 weeks. The first attendees have already made the transition to the club weekly event and enjoying not only the games but also the social contact and friendship that comes with it.

A group is just coming to the end of their course and the club is looking to start a further group in the autumn.

Mel can be contacted on 07889 323037 for more details on membership or bridge lessons.
