Winchester City Council has announced it will be hosting a jobs fair.
The popular, free event, hosted jointly with Winchester Jobcentre, is set for Wednesday, September 4, from 10am to 1pm at its new location: Middle Brook Centre in Winchester.
Several potential employers will attend, such as Peter Symonds College, Sparsholt College, Hampshire Police, Winchester Prison, Holiday Inn, and Brandon Trust.
Apart from lucrative job offers, support organisations like Community First, the National Careers Service, Solent Mind, Winchester District Samaritans, and Winchester Citizens Advice will be present.

Cllr Lucille Thompson, cabinet member for business and culture, said: "This fair is a great chance for local people who are thinking about changing jobs or those who are interested in entering the workplace to come and meet potential employers and discover the many opportunities that are available.
"There are few better places to work than in the Winchester district - it is home to a fantastic array of businesses, and we’re excited to play a part in matching them up with our residents."
An advance power session by the National Careers Service on Friday, August 30, from 10am to 11am at Winchester Job Centre Plus is available. To reserve, email Paula Bedford at pbedford@edt.org.
