Having once again witnessed cars sitting in a queue waiting for a space to become vacant in Middle Brook Street car park, one must question the council decision to erect a cycle rack, which rarely houses cycles, thus reducing parking by three or four spaces.

I understood the reasons behind introducing Sunday and overnight charging was to make up for the loss of revenue due to Covid but it does beg the question how much revenue continues to be lost due to the loss of these spaces, not to mention the cost of erecting the cycle rack in the first place, money which could have been better spent on refurbishing the disgusting public toilets.
