A LARGE tree has collapsed onto a busy Romsey road, blocking traffic and almost hitting parked cars.
On the evening of August 14, the tree fell onto Station Road near Romsey Library, blocking the road but fortunately leaving nobody injured.
The tree was located by 25 Station Road by the junction to Princes Road unexpectedly collapsed approximately around 8pm yesterday evening.
It landed close to parked cars on Station Road, but no major damage seems to have occurred.
National Highways were called by local Police and to remove the object overnight.
