BRONDA Dossett delivered an interesting talk at Broughton Floral Club's recent meeting.
The subject ‘Tales from Downton Abbey’ was covered thoroughly by Bronda starting with the sets for the programmes and where they were based as not all were filmed at Highclere Castle.
Audrey Watts, from the club, said: “Photographs of the small formal garden designed by Capability Brown looked enchanting and exceptionally well kept up.

“We had a quick lesson on The Charlston, Bronda was a dancer and choreographer so plenty of humour and laughter was abound as we all tried.
“Touching on the family history was very interesting which makes me in need of finding out more so that is my next task.”
The club's next meeting on September 4 is a demonstration by Allison Finch called ‘What a Sweetie’.
All visitors are welcome 7pm for 7.30pm at Broughton Village Hall.
