A WINCHESTER man has been fined for stealing an iPad from a city centre restaurant.
Aaron Worrall, 42, of St John’s Road, stole the iPad, worth £1,300, from The Ivy in Winchester High Street on Sunday, July 7, a court heard.
Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, July 10, Worrall pleaded guilty to the crime.
He has been ordered to pay a £100 fine and £500 compensation. The court record did not indicate when the £600 total must be paid by.
