Traffic delays in Winchester are expected all day as festival goers leave Boomtown.
The five-day festival on Matterley Estate concluded at midnight on Sunday, August 11, with the majority of festival goers leaving the site today (Monday, August 12).
Travel maps show heavy delays in traffic across Winchester this morning.
Stagecoach has also said that it will be serving a temporary bus stop on Gladstone Road today to prevent further disruption at the train station.
#Winchester BOOMTOWN We anticipate the Rail Station in Winchester to be extremely busy on Thurs 8th & Mon 12th August. To avoid delays through the Rail Station, all of our services into the City from Romsey Rd will serve a temporary stop on Gladstone St. https://t.co/gOEit9suVy pic.twitter.com/eyvI3FFkYU
