BOOMTOWN 2024 has come to an end, and with that comes a huge clean up.
Throughout the five day festival, which began on Wednesday, August 7 and finished on Sunday, August 11, volunteers and staff alike kept the site on Matterley Estate as free from litter as possible, but as ever, the end of the event means a big clean up.

This year, campers were able to reclaim a £20 eco bond that came under the cost of their ticket, if they were to return two full bags of separated rubbish.
At approximately 5.30am on Monday, August 12, the last of the festival goers began to leave the site, with most taking their rubbish with them. The festival had concluded at midnight the night before, with just a few traders still operating.
