A HAMPSHIRE hairdresser has been shortlisted for his second national award in under two weeks.

Winchester hair salon owner Giuseppe Manco is in the race to become a winner after making it to the finals of the nationwide 2024 Salon Awards, sponsored by Revlon Professional.

Giuseppe, based in Charlecote Mews, is up for both Stylist of the Year and Creative Image of the Year.

He said: "I’m absolutely delighted to be a finalist for Stylist of the Year AND Creative Image of the Year! It’s wonderful to be recognised along with other great hairdressing professionals. Adding another win to my collection would be amazing. I can't wait for the finals!"

The Salon Awards are open to all hair salons and professionals, newcomers and seasoned pros alike. These awards offer an impactful opportunity for hairdressers to highlight their talents and achieve their aspirations.

Giuseppe joins a number of other individuals and hair salons from all areas of the UK and Northern Ireland. Entries are evaluated by an impartial panel of industry experts specialising in salon business, hair technique, marketing and interior design, and the winners will be announced at the celebratory Salon Awards events.

The Salon Awards ceremony will be held on three separate dates in November to reveal the winners from across the UK. Events are scheduled for and of November 2 and 3 in London, and November 9 in Manchester. Attendees will be divided into three groups based on their locations.
