Four generations gathered at Cedar Lawn Nursing Home, Romsey, to celebrate a centenarian's 100th birthday.
Susan Ferraby marked the occasion flanked by four generations of her family, and attributed her longevity to tennis.
The remarkable lady turned 100 on August 4.
Originally an officer's wife, Ferraby spent three decades running a pottery in Winchfield, showcasing artisan Chinese brushwork.
Love poured in as she received a card from the King himself and a tree from the Cedar Lawn Nursing Home staff.
The tree, a unique gift, is scheduled for planting at a National Trust property.
