A BAT walk will be held in Romsey in September.
The event is being organised by the Romsey and District Society and will start at the Palmerston statue at 7pm on Wednesday, September 18.
Nik Knight, the Hampshire county bat recorder, will give a talk before the group will walk down to the Memorial Park and on to Sadler's Mill.

Nik will have a bat recorder so they can be heard and identified. The group will continue along the Causeway and back to the Market Place via Middlebridge Street.
The route will be mostly unlit, so people are encouraged to bring a torch and wear stout shoes. It is expected to take two hours.
