Cabaret Mechanical Theatre

This new family exhibition uses mechanical artwork to offer science and art lovers with an impressive and exhilarating experience, on all day, Saturday and Sunday. Located in the North Transept of Winchester Cathedral, the Cabaret Mechanical Theatre is appropriate for all ages. No pre-booking is required, as a valid annual pass grants entry, which can be purchased online or at the Cathedral.

We Are Aliens – subtitled film show

Perfect for space lovers, this film is ideal for a family day out. Hosted at the Science Centre’s impressive planetarium, the show takes you on a journey, narrated by Rupert Grint through outer space in search of alien life. This event is accessible for all, providing a friendly and relaxed environment for everyone. Saturday and Sunday, 11am and 2.15pm.

Dinosaur World Live

This exciting and unique show, hosted at Winchester’s Theatre Royal offers a family friendly experience for lovers of the pre-historic world. You will meet a range of the planets most famous dinosaurs such as the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops and many more. Don’t miss this unforgettable experience, which will be shown on Saturday, August 10 at 2pm and Sunday, August 11, at 10.30am and 1.30pm.

Solar System Adventure – live Planetarium show

An impressive, and fascinating experience, hosted by the Winchester Science Centre’s planetarium on Saturday and Sunday at 10.15am, 11.45am, 12.30pm, 1.15pm, 3pm and 4pm. This adventure takes you on a journey through the night sky, in an experience suitable for everyone. Again, this takes place in a relaxed environment, so is perfect for a family day out.

Free Park Yoga at Garrison Ground

Ever wanted to try yoga? You can this Sunday August 11, at the Garrison Ground, in a free, hour long session. No yoga experience is required and everyone is welcome, including children. All you need is a mat or a towel and you can enjoy this fun and relaxed session, this Sunday from 9.30am to 10.30am.
