TRAINS have been delayed at Winchester due to a signalling problem.
Because of the issue, the line towards Eastleigh is currently blocked, with disruption estimated to continue until 2pm.
Online, South Western Railway (SWR)have said: "We were earlier informed that a passenger had taken ill onboard a train at Winchester. The person's condition has been assessed by staff from the Ambulance Service and the train is now able to proceed.

"We have also been informed of a signalling problem at Winchester and the line towards Eastleigh is currently blocked.
"For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
"We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey."
