A HAMPSHIRE school has put on a fiesta in the sun to raise funds for its playground.
Pupils and teachers of Romsey Primary School and Nursery enjoyed their fourth annual Little Mudder obstacle course, raising more than £2,000 for new playground equipment.
Headteacher Jason Anderson said: "The event was a resounding success, bringing joy and excitement to all the children. Pupils from Nursery to Y6 enthusiastically tackled the muddy obstacle course, laughing and cheering as they got wet and wonderfully dirty.

"It was a day filled with fun, teamwork, and unforgettable memories, showcasing the adventurous spirit of our school. The event not only provided a fantastic physical challenge but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and resilience.
"There were even lots of parents (and grandparents), having a go themselves at the end of the day! Here’s to many more such exhilarating events in the future!"
The school wants to thank the companies, who helped make the day a big success: DC Scaffolding, Footner & Ewing LLP, Xcentric Events Limited and KevT Photography.
