POLICE have provided an update after two men were arrested after crashing into a tree near Hursley.
The crash caused Hursley Road between Hursley and Chandler's Ford to be closed for several hours on Tuesday, July 23.
A police spokesman previously said: "At around 11pm on Monday July 22, officers spotted a vehicle on Bournemouth Road, Chandler's Ford, which they sought to stop.
"However, this vehicle made off from them.

"A short time later, the vehicle was located having been involved in a collision with a tree on Hursley Road.”
A 22-year-old from Southampton had been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop for police. He has been bailed until October 23 while enquires continue.
A 19-year-old man from Southampton, who had been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, has now been de-arrested and will be invited to attend a voluntary interview in due course.
