A MAJOR road in a Hampshire village will have traffic lights for five weeks for roadworks.
New Road, in Swanmore, will be the subject of roadworks from Monday, July 29 to Friday, August 30.
The works will be at the entrance to the Persimmon development at the junction with The Lakes. The traffic lights will be in operation during work hours which is 7am to 7pm.

The road will be closed from August 21-23 between 9am and 4pm for the carriageway to be resurfaced outside the entrance to the development.
The works have been timed to correspond with the summer holidays for Swanmore College.
