The managing director at Flowerdown Care Home in Winchester has participated in the Barchester Charitable Foundation Cook-Off.
The challenge saw Natasha Lazovic compete against managing directors from Barchester’s four other divisions, raising £24,595.
The funds are set to boost the Barchester Charitable Foundation, which helps disabled and vulnerable people connect to their local communities.
The charity aids these groups by granting funds to enhance their mobility and quality of life.
In 2023, the Foundation achieved a donation milestone of £225,000, directly benefiting over 160 small groups and charities, and 87 individuals within a single year.
For the competition, Ms Lazovic prepared two standout dishes, Roast Chicken Breast with smoked bacon mash, and a Sticky Date and Ginger Sponge.
Her division successfully raised the highest amount for the Foundation, garnering £11,595.
General manager of Flowerdown Care Home, Claudia Nunes, said: "We are all so proud of Natasha for taking part in this challenge, she really is amazing – is there nothing she can’t do! Her dishes looked absolutely fantastic and she raised so much for the Foundation, we think she is an absolute super star!"
