A FAMILY-RUN ice cream company that started in a barn in Easton has joined up with a major high street clothes retailer to release a cute range of clothes based on the company's branding.
Jude's, which now operates from a warehouse in Twyford, has linked up with FatFace, a clothing retailer that has stores across the country but has its headquarters in Havant.
They have released a range of clothes inspired by days at the beach and long coastal walks. The collection features retro shapes and styles in sugary shades, with something for all the family.
Chow Mezger, Jude's director, said: "Collaborating with FatFace on this collection has been an absolute pleasure. Being involved from the initial concept to the launch has been a fascinating journey. As fellow Hampshire B Corps, our shared values shine through in this unique clothing line, which wonderfully captures the joy of ice cream."
The FatFace x Jude’s collection is available now in-store and online at fatface.com. Prices
start from £7.50 for socks and keyrings to £69 for the Maria Jude’s Stripe Dress.
Jude's and Fatface are both Hampshire success stories.
Jude's, which employs about 60 people, started 20 years ago in a small barn in the village of Easton. It has grown into an international operation, with its instantly recognisable stripy packaging.
Jude's was also awarded the annual Millennium Egg award by Winchester City Council for its contribution to business in the district at the latest Winchester Business Excellence Awards.
Fatface was founded in 1988 in French ski resort Méribel by Tim Slade, however it now employs more than 2,000 people across its office, stores and distribution centre, with its head office in Havant.
It has a store in Winchester High Street, as well as in Romsey, Basingstoke, Salisbury, Southampton, Portsmouth and Havant.
