Two years ago you published a letter in your paper, naming the city of Winchester 'The Weedy City'!

Well nothing has changed, I have never seen the city so full of weeds as it is today, they are growing all around the edges of the buildings, around and under bus shelters, lamp posts, traffic signs, in fact nearly everywhere.

Surely all these new elected councillors must have seen the state the town is in, when they were out canvassing, and securing the residents' votes.

Could I ask the city council to review the way they are undertaking the control of the weeds, at the most go around with weed killer to control most of these weeds, as I feel sure they are not just being left there for the sake of the bees!

With so many tourists now visiting the city, there is a real need to urgently tidy the streets, and make the city once again a town to be proud of.
