A ROMSEY woman has been fined for watching TV without a licence.

Debbie Ballard, 35, of Ganger Road, used a television set without paying for a licence at an unknown date between November 29 and December 21, a court heard.

She was found guilty of the crime on Wednesday, July 17 at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court.

Magistrates have fined her £220 and a £88 victim surcharge.

The total amount of £308 must be paid by July 31.
