TRIBUTES have been left in memory of a man who died on the road in Kings Worthy.
The tributes, left at the junction of London Road and Church Lane, consist of flowers and notes.
One of the notes says: “Sleep tight. Taken far too early. You will be remembered for your smile and wicked sense of humour.”
Another says: “You were always a joy to be around, you’re going to be missed so much.”
As previously reported, a motorcyclist died following a crash at the junction of London Road and Church Lane on the evening of Friday, July 19. The crash involved a black Keeway motorcycle and white Ford Ranger.

Police were called at around 10.30pm and man in his 20s from Winchester was pronounced dead at the scene.
A police spokesperson said: “At this time we are appealing for any witnesses to the collision itself, or to the movements of either vehicle in the moments leading up to the collision.
“We would particularly like to speak to anyone with relevant dash cam footage.

It was the second fatal road incident in Kings Worthy this month. On July 5, James Scott, 25, of Fraser Road, died in a collision on the A33 near the Cart and Horses junction. The inquest was opened and adjourned at Winchester Coroners’ Court on Tuesday, July 16.
