A ROMSEY man has been ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work after pleading guilty to assault.
Kevin Leigh, 54, of Wyndham Drive, assaulted a woman on September 9, 2023, causing bodily harm to her, a court heard.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Friday, May 10, Leigh pleaded guilty to the offence.
On Wednesday, July 17, magistrates ordered Leigh to complete 100 hours of unpaid work, to be completed within 12 months.
He must also pay £500 in costs and a £114 victim surcharge. The total amount of £614 will be paid in monthly instalments of £200 starting on August 1.
