A MAN has been fined and given a court order after he pleaded guilty to sexual assault.
Mustafa Acikgoz, 42, formerly of Stockbridge Road, Winchester, committed sexual assault on a woman aged 16 or over in Winchester on Saturday, April 20, a court heard.
Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, May 28, Acikgoz pleaded guilty to the offence.
On Wednesday, July 17, he was given a court order by magistrates. He must abstain from alcohol for 84 days, and observe a curfew not allowing him to leave his home address between 5pm and midnight until monitoring equipment is fitted.

He must also comply with any instructions of the responsible officer to attend appointments (with the responsible officer or someone else nominated by them), or to participate in any activity as required by the responsible officer up to a maximum of 35 days.
Acikgoz is also required to register with the police for five years, and must report to the Tunbridge Wells police station.
He has been fined £420 and must pay £500 compensation, as well as a £114 victim surcharge and £85 costs. The total amount of £1,119 will be paid in monthly instalments of £100 starting from August 30.
