ONE planning application has been refused by Winchester City Council officers using their delegated powers this week.

Bailey Mulderig was refused permission to add an engraved curved formed aluminium box sign with 3D Logo and internally illuminated with LEDs to Office 1, 2 And 3 Cowdown Farm, Duke Street in Micheldever.

Meanwhile, Joanne Tindall, of 61 Firmstone Road in Winnall, Winchester, withdrew her application to add a driveway to the front of her property replacing a grass area.

All other applications were approved.

In Compton, an application has been approved to change the use of Four Dells Farm, Poles Lane, to a mixed B2 and B8 use.

In Curdridge, Nick Pike can add a summer house to Poplars Farm House, Curdridge Lane.

In Denmead, Icon Tower Infrastructure Ltd has been granted permission to install tower and equipment cabinets at land at Soake Pond, Soake Road.

Chris Raymond, of St Margarets, Forest Road can go through with his hip to gable loft conversion, adding a rear extension to the property and replacing the detached garage with a an attached one.

In Headbourne Worthy, an unnamed applicant has permission to change a condition regarding the development of Pudding Farmhouse, Pudding Farm, Pudding Lane.

In Kings Worthy, Ricardo De Freitas Duarte has permission add a two-storey front extension, and front and rear gable ends to 6 Loader Close, as well as make alterations to existing dormer window, internal alterations and driveway alterations.

In Swanmore, Thierry Huser has been given the go ahead to demolish the existing garage at Rosemarys Cottage, Chapel Road and build a timber outbuilding to be used as a studio/gym and a kitchenette/shower room and toilet.

Carol Tompkins, of Heathfield House, Gravel Hill, has permission to add a side 1.5 storey extension with glazed gables to the property, with alterations to the north side to create an attic room that includes a large dormer window and an associated staircase.

In Whiteley, Spencer Allen can go ahead with building a log cabin in his back garden at 40 Maple Rise.

In Wickham, permission has been granted for the partial redevelopment of the Shell petrol station in Fareham Road by JMS Planning and Development.

In Winchester Town, an unnamed applicant has permission to construct a two-storey rear and side extension with two additional bedrooms at 13 St Mary Street, Stanmore.

Winchester Colleges’ application has been approved to erect an extension to Moberly's Boarding House at 69 Kingsgate Street.
