A SWANMORE man has been imprisoned for assaulting several emergency workers.
Joshua Barnes, 29, of Cobbett Close, attacked police sergeant Ian Sullivan and PC Jordan Dempsey at the Northern Police Investigation Centre in Jays Close, Basingstoke on November 30, a court heard.

The same day Barnes also racially harassed and assaulted Ranjan Arunachalam at Basingstoke Railway Station.
Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 11, Barnes pleaded guilty to all charges.
He has been sentenced to 10 weeks in prison. He must also pay a £154 victim surcharge, to be paid in full by October 1.
