A KINGS Worthy man who died in a collision two weeks ago has been named as the inquest opens into his death.
James Alexander Scott, 25, of Fraser Road, died in a collision on the A33 southbound between the Cart and Horses and Winnall roundabout on Friday, July 5.
At Winchester Coroners' Court, in a five-minute hearing an inquest was opened into his death by assistant coroner Sally Olsen on Tuesday, July 16.

The assistant coroner said that Mr Scott had left his home at 9.45pm on Friday, July 5 to go to work as a night manager. Concerns were raised when he did not arrive for his shift, with his brother following his route and finding his car in an accident.
Paramedics were called, but Mr Scott died at the scene.
The preliminary cause of death has been given as multiple injuries caused by a traffic collision.
The inquest had been adjourned to take place at Winchester Coroners' Court on July 17 next year.
