A HAMPSHIRE museum invited people to dress up in regency garb this weekend.
The Jane Austen House, in Chawton, held its annual Regency Dress Up Day on Saturday, July 13.

The house, where the famous author spent the last eight years of her life, holds the dress-up days every year on the Saturday closest to the date of her death on July 18.
Visitors are encouraged to visit the property in their best Regency outfits to celebrate the life and times of the author.
