A jobs and opportunities fair will be returning to Winchester later this year.
Hosted by Winchester City Council together with Winchester Jobcentre, the third annual event is scheduled for September 4, from 10am to 1pm, at the Middle Brook Centre on Middle Brook Street.
The fair allows organisations and businesses to engage with residents and students, aiming to help those looking for full or part-time work, changing careers, returning to work or seeking opportunities in volunteering and training.
The endeavour is also designed to lend a hand to those recently moved to the Winchester district.
Additionally, resources regarding mental health, wellbeing, CV writing and interviewing will be available.
More than twenty stands are already booked up, so the remaining slots are likely to be filled swiftly on a first-come, first-served basis.
Speaking on the affair, Winchester City Council’s cabinet member for business and culture, Councillor Lucille Thompson said: "Our previous Jobs and Opportunities Fairs with Winchester Jobcentre have been a great success, and this new fair will offer further valuable opportunities for employers across the Winchester district to connect with local jobseekers."
Interested organisations are invited to email Emily Reason at ereason@winchester.gov.uk to register their interest.
