A WINCHESTER man has been ordered to pay compensation after stealing wine and food from Marks and Spencer.
Maxwell Lane-Wheeler, 26, of City Road, stole two bottles of wine and a meal packet, worth a total of £32, from the shop on Wednesday, May 15, a court heard.
Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Friday, July 5, he pleaded guilty to the charge.
Lane-Wheeler has been ordered to pay £32 compensation.
