I WOULD like to thank the Voters of Winchester who voted for me in the recent general election.

As an independent, it was always going to be impossible to be elected but at least I managed to highlight my local policies and also to advocate changing our unfair voting system to proportional representation where every vote would count.

It was lovely to meet all the candidates and the people on the doorstep, and I wish the victor, Lib Dem Danny Chambers, every success as I am sure he was the right choice for Winchester. Good luck Danny and see you around the constituency!

Kevin D’Cruze,

Former Independent Parliamentary Candidate for Winchester,

Pine Road,

Bishop's Waltham
