HAT Fair is well underway following a magnificent opening ceremony.
The annual, family-friendly festival of street performance and outdoor arts runs until Sunday, July 7.
The opening event was originally going to take place next to Winchester Cathedral, but heavy rain forced it indoors.
The Theatre Royal was quickly prepared to host the show based on this year's theme: "look back, look forward, look up".
There's plenty of events to get involved with, including NoFit State Circus' 'Bamboo' - a high-skill outdoor circus production using only bamboo and human bodies in the Cathedral Outer Close at noon and 5pm on Sunday.
Raggle Taggle Arts is performing Betty Brown Bags at 12.45pm and 3pm on Sunday. This interactive show is a physical theatre piece with a pantomime flair.
Award-winning clown Fraser Hooper will guarantee giggles with his performances of 'Funny Business' on Saturday and Sunday.
