I have been reading and hearing about all the goings on at the cathedral in the last week or so.

Like many of your readers I am shocked and disappointed by events. One would think that the cathedral hierarchy would be above that kind of thing.

I don't know what is going on, but there appears to be some kind of petty internal conflict. This matter needs to be resolved urgently.

It is damaging the reputation of a highly regarded and much loved institution.

I find the whole thing quite heartbreaking. Andrew Lumsden should not be the fall guy. I do not know where the buck stops, but someone needs to take responsibility for this mess.
