THE latest Wonston Community Café has raised £275 for Scots Tots, the Sutton Scotney Baby and Toddler group.

This group offers play, craft, companionship and refreshments for babies, toddlers, parents and carers every Friday during term time. The money was raised through a combination of donations and the sale of coffees and cake.

The next Wonston Community Café will be at the Victoria Hall, Sutton Scotney, from 9.30am to 12noon on Wednesday, July 17. This month it will be supporting the Church Pantry Food Bank which is now open in the shed adjacent to The Coach & Horses pub. It offers non-perishable foods and hygiene products at no cost to those who need help in providing for themselves or their family with no referral required. Donations of non-perishable food items and toiletries for the Pantry will also be collected at the hall on the morning of the café. The café has plenty of free parking and is cash only.

There will be no café in August while volunteers take some time off.
