A motorcyclist has died in a crash involving two cars on a Hampshire road.
Police officers were called at 5.42pm to a collision involving a black motorbike and two cars on the A334 in Shedfield at the junction with Sandy Lane.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but despite their best efforts the rider of the motorcycle, a 20-year-old man from Shedfield, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family have been informed and will be supported by officers.
Police are at the scene and the A334 remains closed while officers carry out enquiries to establish how the crash happened.
Officers are now appealing to the public who may have been passing the area at the time who may have seen what happened.
A police spokesperson said: "As part of our investigation we would like to hear from anyone who may have been passing through the area around 5.40pm this afternoon and saw what happened or the moments leading up to it.
"We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage which could help us with our investigation.
"Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting the reference 44240271552. Alternatively, you can go online and submit information."
