Motorcyclists rode dangerously on the M3 across Hampshire, swerving between other vehicles, doing wheelies and even 'doughnuts' on the carriageway.
Reports were logged between 5.45pm and 6pm on Tuesday, June 25, of a group of bikers swerving between lanes at speed and riding on the back wheel on the southbound carriageway between junction 3 and Winchester services.
It was also reported the group had stopped traffic in the road works between junctions 3 and 4 as they performed doughnuts, spinning in a circle in the road.
Police officers located four of the group at Winchester services and three men and a woman were handed fixed penalty notices for number plate offences.
One of the motorcycles, a silver Yamaha, was seized by officers as it had no tax or MOT.
Police have spoken to several witnesses but are appealing for anyone with relevant dash cam footage of any of these incidents to come forward.
Those with any information or relevant dash cam footage are being encouraged to call 101 and quote the reference number 44240267977.
