A FIGHT after a crash between a van and a lorry has sparked a police appeal. 

Officers are appealing for information after the incident on the A34 near Winchester.

A police spokesman said: “At some time between 8.40am and 9am on Monday, June 24 a minor collision occurred between a white van and a HGV with a shipping container on the back.

“Both vehicles pulled over in the layby on the northbound A34 between Three Maids Hill and Sutton Scotney Services.

“An altercation occurred between the driver and the passenger of the van, and the driver of the HGV.

“Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw those involved in the layby. Were you driving in the area and do you have a dashcam fitted to your vehicle?
