A TV and radio broadcaster recently hosted a Q&A at a new retirement community in Hampshire. 

Gloria Hunniford was at Ampfield Meadows on Thursday, June 20 to celebrate the opening of the show home. 

People enjoyed an afternoon tea while Gloria, 84, shared stories from her broadcasting career. She shared how she stays young at heart and how she makes the most of retirement. 

Gloria said: “It was a wonderful day spent at Ampfield Meadows, opening the new show home, and speaking with so many wonderful attendees. I always leave feeling inspired when visiting the villages.”

People were able to explore detailed plans of the village’s latest phase, which is set to develop a further 57 properties and a state-of-the-art village centre. Ampfield Meadows’ facilities include a swimming pool, sauna, gym, studio, cinema, craft room, restaurant, private dining area, café, bar, and shop.
