THE King Charles pub in Kings Worthy is hosting its annual music festival on Friday, July 12. Opening at 5pm is Matt O’Neil, followed by The Scheme at 7pm and closing is “the UK’s most entertaining ska revival show”, Badness. The bar will be stocked with local ales and ciders.

A “NON-PSYCHIC ‘Psychic’ Show” will be held at The Worthys Jubilee Hall on Friday, October 24. An exploration of magic, escapology, mentalism and other performance skills, the show is designed to appeal to sceptics and believers alike. It is also a historical study of fraudulent mediums, from Victorian frauds to modern forms of trickery. A CLASSICAL music concert will take place in Stockbridge on Saturday, July 5. It features Stile Antico, who will be performing at St Peter’s Church at 7.30pm. Entitled “A Garden of Delights”, the concert will feature early vocal music. Tickets are £20 or £5 for under-18s, and are available at stockbridgemusic.uk or on the door.
