A ROAD through a Hampshire village will be closed for eight nights for carriageway repairs.
Botley Road, North Baddesley, will closed from July 11 to 20 from 7pm to 6am.
This is part of Hampshire County Council’s programme to make Hampshire’s roads more resilient to the effects of extreme weather and heavy traffic.

Due to the nature of the work and for safety reasons, it is necessary to carry the work out under a road closure with a signed diversion route in place. The road will be reopened outside each working shift. No works are planned during the weekend.
While the works are carried out, the road will be closed to vehicular traffic. Access for residents and businesses will be maintained wherever possible. Pedestrian access will always be available.
