HUGE names headlined a Hampshire village music festival as thousands of people enjoyed the hot weather.

Swanfest, held at Swanmore College, saw Scouting For Girls and Marvin Humes grace the stage on Saturday, June 22.

As well as the headliners, crowds soaked up the party atmosphere with fairground rides, food, drinks and more.

Now in its fifth year, Swanfest has managed to attract some huge names to headline the festival.

Last year they had Blazin' Squad, Marcel Somerville and Toyah Wilcox. In 2022, they had Martin Kemp and Tinchy Stryder.

He said: “It has been a bit different this year because we have had staff leave, so it's been a bit hectic with a lot of work at the last minute, but it has all paid off, it's all going well.

“It has got bigger each year, I don't know who we're having next year, we haven't got that far yet because we have to sort out dates and things like that. Because it has got bigger and bigger, it has enabled us to get bigger acts. Scouting For Girls is a great headline act. It's amazing to have them, the crews are all lovely.

“I've heard nothing but good things about Marvin Humes, so we're all really excited. We're hoping for around 3,000 people to be here. We have never sold as many tickets in advance as we have this year which has been amazing. Mostly family tickets as well which is lovely because that's what we're aiming for, we like to make it a family event.”
