ROMSEY Flower Club recently held its annual chairman’s evening competition.
Helen Hardy judged the arrangements in three classes and said that the standard was very good, at the event on Thursday, June 13.
After the prizes, the group enjoyed an American supper.

The results were:
Novice Shield - 1st Lesley Morrow, 2nd Cheryl Collier.
Intermediate - 1st Sue Steele, 2nd Marie Langford, 3rd Frances Sweeny.
Advanced - 1st Marion Bishop, 2nd Maureen Lawes, 3rd Gillie Oldmeadow, highly commended Jean Viola.
Best use of colour - Maureen Lawes.
Best in Show - Sue Steel.
