This view of City Road, Winchester, shows the Baptist Church is the only building that remains today after more than 100 years.
The photograph comes from a postcard sent on April 21, 1906 by Bertha Hibbard to her mother, who lived in Ipswich.
The image was sent in by Nigel Sacree, Bertha's great nephew, who comments that the church was an important institution for his family.

He writes, "This was very much our ‘family church’, across several generations.
"The side extension visible in the picture, which no longer exists, was used by the Sunday School (attended by all the Sacree siblings over a number of years), and for weekday meetings."
