Winchester's motorists will have 14 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Two of them are expected to cause moderate delays, with drivers facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M3, from 8pm May 2 to 6am June 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 7 to junction 9, Lane closures for barrier work.

• M3, from 8pm May 16 to 6am June 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 8 to junction 9, Lane closures for barrier work.

• A303, from 8pm April 8 to 6am July 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 both directions M3, junction 9 to Three Maids Hill, carriageway closures for resurfacing work.

And a further 11 closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A303, from 8pm June 3 to 6am June 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 7 to junction 9, carriageway closure for resurfacing work.

• M3, from 8pm June 3 to 6am June 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 11 to junction 9, Lane closures for concrete barrier scheme.

• M27, from 8pm June 3 to 6am June 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 both directions, junction 9, Lane closures for structures inspections.

• M3, from 9pm June 4 to 6am June 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 10, slip road closure for concrete barrier scheme.

• M3, from 9pm June 4 to 6am June 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 11, slip road closure for concrete barrier scheme.

• M3, from 8pm June 6 to 6am June 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 11 to junction 13, Lane closures for concrete barrier scheme.

• M3, from 9pm June 6 to 6am June 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 12, slip road closures for concrete barrier scheme.

• A303, from 8pm June 10 to 6am June 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Micheldever, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

• A303, from 8pm June 14 to 6am June 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Overton, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

• A27, from 8pm June 14 to 6am June 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 both directions Langstone to Harts Farm Way, Lane closures for surveys.

• A303, from 8pm June 17 to 6am June 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Micheldever, slip road and lane closures for signage work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
