The charity that runs Theatre Royal Winchester is looking for support cast members for this year's pantomime.

Play to the Crowd, which also runs the Hat Fair, is looking for enthusiastic residents for the annual family pantomime, Mother Goose.

The performance will be running from Saturday, November 30 to Sunday, January 5.

The charity hopes to reach out to people with dancing experience, who those who also have an interest in acting and singing.

They are looking for volunteers who are eager to work with the professional actors who are in the show.

The opportunity presents a fantastic chance for those wishing to expand their performance and industry experience, working among accomplished professionals.

Applications are open to individuals, 16 years old by August 31.

The deadline for applications is July 1, 11.59pm.

Auditions are scheduled for July 7 between 11am and 3.30pm at Unit 12, Winnall Valley Road, Winchester, SO23 0LD.

The auditions will be primarily dance-focussed, with hopeful cast members learning and then performing one to two dance routines to the show’s choreographer and director.

Rehearsals will then run throughout November, to get ready for opening night.
