HALFORDS Winchester will be closing its doors for good next month.
The shop, which specialises in car and bike items and care, in the Moorside Road Retail Park, Winnall, will cease trading on Friday, July 5.
A Halfords spokesperson said: “We can confirm our Halfords Winchester store will be permanently closing.
"We are working hard to support all of those affected and are hopeful of being able to offer those colleagues roles at alternative locations.
“We’d like to thank all our customers for their support of the Winchester store and look forward to welcoming them at our Halfords Eastleigh, Halfords Andover, and Halfords Basingstoke all located within a 20-minute drive.”

A reason for the closure was not given.
This news comes more than a year after Currys, also located in the Moorside Road Retail Park, closed due to no longer being economically viable.
Plans were submitted to Winchester City Council to turn the empty unit into a gym. However, they were rejected by planners.
The retail park is currently owned by real estate developer The Hargreaves Group, which purchased the site in 2019.
